GoPark's sauna village offers a unique place to experience traditional Finnish sauna bathing with a touch of luxury. On the shore of the lake, only about a 30-minute drive from Tampere, the sauna village invites you to enjoy pure nature and diverse sauna experiences. During the summer season, you can enjoy the warmth of five different saunas at the sauna village. Each one has its own atmosphere and purpose, making your visit to the sauna village a diverse experience. You can visit all the saunas in the same evening or focus on enjoying the one that suits you best at that particular moment.
Jussi – the heart of the sauna village

Practical information for your visit to the sauna village
- Pack Bring a swimsuit, a large towel, a towel and beach slippers. The saunas at the Sauna Village are for both men and women, so a swimsuit is required when using the sauna.
- The towel should reach from the back of the chair to your toes when you are sitting on the bench. A towel about 180 cm long is ideal for this. A long towel is especially important during guided treatments. You can also buy a large towel at the restaurant cashier.
- It is forbidden to step on the sauna benches with outdoor shoes, so please leave your beach slippers outside the sauna or step on the benches. shoes on just on the peddle.
- The beach saunas have separate showers and changing rooms for women and men. The changing rooms have lockers for valuables, which are freely available to our customers.
- From the sauna village you can reach Vanajajärvi. to swim both from the beach and the pier.
- Depending on the level of use, Aamusana has either electric saunas for men and women or just one shared electric sauna, in which case swimsuits are used.
- If there is only one electric sauna in use (Aatami beach sauna), men dress and undress in the changing rooms in the yellow building next to the beach saunas and shower in the shower room of the communal sauna wearing their swimming trunks. Women can use the showers and changing room of the Eeva sauna.
- Please take care of your hygiene. Before using the sauna, wash yourself either in the washroom of the lakeside sauna or in the Viking shower in the sauna village.
- After taking a sauna, and especially after treatments or a steam sauna, you should wash before going into the hot tub or cold pool.

The themed saunas at Saunakylä make regular sauna bathing something special. Each theme combines the heat of the sauna, natural elements and guided treatments into a holistic experience that refreshes both body and mind.
The events will be held mainly in the Jussi sauna, which has large windows with stunning views of the lake. One sauna will be temporarily reserved for a guided sauna ritual, which you can participate in for the price of a sauna ticket. At the same time, the other saunas will be open as usual.
The wedding ceremony is the most famous and impressive theme of the sauna village. It combines traditional wedding ceremonies and multi-sensory elements:
- Fragrances: Crushed ice balls soaked in essential oils are placed on the heater. When the steam is released, clouds of fragrance are created in the sauna.
- Music: A playlist designed for the experience enhances the atmosphere as the sauna experience progresses.
- Ritual: Participants clap in rhythm, sing together, and wave to each other.

Salt peeling is a sauna treatment that uses Himalayan salt and coconut oil. The mixture contains 84 natural minerals that cleanse and condition the skin.
